Kolkata Knight Riders take on Sunrisers Hyderabad at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi. Both will head into the game having lost their first match albeit in contrasting fashion. KKR looked rusty and were never in-game against MI. SRH on other hand lost a match which they should not have and were also not helped by an injury to Mitchell Marsh who could have been vital with the bat while chasing down the target.
KKR should shake off the rustiness and bowling lead by Cummins and co would like to be more consistent with their lines and lengths. Cummins would want to forget his match bowling where he went for 49 runs in 3 overs and would like to perform consistently to justify the price tag on him. Kuldeep would also want to get back among wickets. Mavi & Narine would like to continue their good work.

Narine is still being played out means batsman have respect for his bowling.KKR batting would like to get their act together and put opposition’s bowler under pressure as they have a threatening top 6 and the one-off game does not make them bad players.
Sunrisers Hyderabad was unlucky in the first match as they lost the match which they should have won and also lost Mitchell Marsh for the whole tournament. They have added Jason Holder and would hope the WI test captain would add the depth in bowling and batting departments for them. They would also hope the middle order to perform more responsibly and keeping match situation also in mind. If one will look at their first game against RCB, Bairstow would have been wiser in playing out Chahal’s last over and attacking the other bowler.
SRH might look to bring M. Nabi in their playing X1 after Marsh is ruled out and Holder would be serving quarantine period. SRH bowling was OK in the first match and would like to continue in the same manner. Bhuvneshwar looked good and SRH would hope that he continues in the same way as the team’s fortune revolve around him the big way.
With teams batting first winning games it might be possible that team winning the toss would like to bat first and put the opposition under pressure in their chasing. KKR might pip this one because of their superior middle-order batting.
