IPL 2020, MI VS SRH: Mumbai Indians have edge against Sunrisers Hyderabad

KKR vs MI Match Prediction

Mumbai Indians will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in a first doubleheader of the day at Sharjah cricket ground. Both teams are coming on the back of a convincing win in their last match so both would fancy their chances. As hs happened over last week, Mumbai Indians looks a side that can chase down anything or score 100 in last 6 overs whereas SRH has looked a hard team to chase against.

Mumbai Indians success depends on their captain’s batting and the team would hope that hitman will continue to score more runs & Dekock comes good soon. Suryakumar, Kishan, Pandya, Pollard have all been among runs and would like to continue their good work. Bowling was exceptional and did not give Kings the chance to chase down the target. Bumrah when in rhythm does well and that impact can be seen on other bowlers around him.

Sunrisers Hyderabad would like to follow the process of their last two matches and the management would be very happy from the performance of middle-order batsman against CSK where Shivam and Abhishek combined together to produce a game-changing partnership. Warner would take heart from performance and this would allow him to be more aggressive. Williamson has been a positive change and his presence is a calming effect on the young middle order.

Bowling has been sensational in last two games with Bhuvneshwar and Rashid giving nothing in their overs. Natrajan has been effective with his wide yorkers and Abhishek and Samad have done well to bowl 4 overs for 5th bowler. Bhuvneshwar went off the field & could not complete his final over. SRH would hope that he is fit for the match against MI.

The ground dimensions are such that teams have scored 90-100 runs in last 5 overs and with MI middle order having more power hitters SRH bowlers have a tough task on their hands. Rashid’s 4 overs will be crucial and how MI play him will decide the outcome of the match. As things stand MI look favourites but not by much.
