India vs New Zealand 1st T20I: Black Caps score went past 100 in first 14 overs against Men in Blue

Ind vs nz

It’s been a thrilling first T20I between India and New Zealand because the former won the toss and chose to field first, with dew pouring in later as the game went on.

Black Caps were seeking to establish themselves in the middle after losing two quick wickets in the first six overs, and they were successful in doing so as they amassed 115 runs in 14 overs with Conway and Mitchell batting on 47 and 12 runs, respectively.

Indian spinners have distinguished themselves for India in this current competition. Together, Sundar and Kuldeep have grabbed three wickets.

Men in Blue made an odd option by leaving Chahal out of the starting lineup. Chahal has taken the most Black Caps wickets in all T20I games played to far, so leaving him out was unexpected.

In addition to looking energetic on the field, India’s captain Hardik Pandya would be pleased if New Zealand was limited to fewer than 180 runs, which they can comfortably chase with dew falling later.

The Men in Blue think group is working to restructure the T20 team in preparation for the 2024 World Cup.

It all began after India lost to the Three Lions by 10 wickets in a crushing setback for Indian cricket fans. Even skipper Rohit Sharma couldn’t hold back his tears, which were seen on camera.

India has plenty of time to develop their own style of T2o cricket, and if they are successful in doing so, it will be simpler for them to excel in the game’s shortest format.
