IND Vs AUS 4th Test Day 2 : Usman Khawaja making it look like a Cake walk against Indian bowlers at Ahmedabad!
Probably for the first time in the Border-Gavaskar trophy 2023, Australia have crossed the 300 run mark and to be fair haven’t looked this dominating in the series so far. On the back of a fantastic comeback in the 3rd test at Indore, the Aussies are aiming to dent India’s hopes of reaching the ICC World Test Championship final for the 2nd time in a row.
One of the main culprits behind it has been none other than Pakistan born Australian opener Usman Khawaja. The Left-handed batter is making it look extremely easy (playing against Indian bowlers) and he is currently playing with them like a child plays with a toy.
A maiden century to Cameron Green has helped Australia build an impressive first innings score on day two of the final Test against India.

Khawaja after scoring a Ton on Day 1 after Australia’s decision to bat first is inching closer to his maiden Test double hundred at the World’s largest cricket stadium. The Indian bowling line-up is looking absolutely clueless as to what will get Usman Khawaja out.
𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐭𝐰𝐨! 🔥🔥
A sigh of relief for #TeamIndia as @ashwinravi99 strikes twice in an over to remove Cameron Green and Alex Carey 💪🏻💪🏻

All thanks to Ravichandran Ashwin that he got Cameron Green out because he was proving to be very problematic for India. Green was playing only his first Test match in the test series proved the Australian management’s decision right as he smacked his maiden Test century and got out for 114 off 170 balls.
Usman Khawaja tried his best but ultimately got out without getting to his 200. This will be for the 2nd time this year that he missed out on a double ton despite being so close. The previous occasion was against South Africa earlier this year when he got out for 196.
But Australia have put up a very good 1st inning total on the board regardless. For the first time in this series have they scored 400+ and now it will be up to the bowlers to do the job and try to restrict Rohit Sharma’s men for as low as they can.
That will be Stumps on Day 2⃣ of the Fourth #INDvAUS Test!
Another gripping day of Test Cricket as #TeamIndia 🇮🇳 reach 36/0 at the end of day's play!
We will be back with more action tomorrow as an exciting Day 3 awaits!
