IND Vs AUS 3rd ODI : Dinesh Kartik provides his honest opinion about Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya!

IND Vs AUS 3rd ODI Dinesh Kartik provides his honest opinion about Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya!

It will be a series loss to remember for India to always analyze how the Australians out-played them and took them off-guard to win the 3-match ODI series by 2-1. The loss will also serve as to what is up ahead during the ICC World Test Championship final and the 50-over ICC Cricket World cup in October.

India’s batting-order underwent a depressing run of play with none of the senior and young players showing up for the occasion as Interim captain Steve Smith earned a 20-run win at Chepauk. India’s performance also raised questions for batters like Surya Kumar Yadav and KL Rahul.

Both of the players have been backed for quite some time now but hopefully they will adjust themselves for the Cricket world cup in October. Every social media platform has been buzzing and cursing the players and 2007 T20 World cup winner Dinesh Kartik also provided his take on 2 players.

“KL Rahul and Virat Kohli stitched a partnership in which Virat Kohli started positively, but KL Rahul was sedate through it. When KL Rahul started going, he lasted just five to six balls.”

Kartik clarified that Hardik’s temperament was different when he was batting alongside Kohli while when the latter got out Hardik Pandya was shut off and did not score much runs.

“When Hardik Pandya came, he took on and started playing shots. The moment Virat Kohli got out, things changed drastically post that. Hardik went into a shell and wasn’t trying to play those big sweeps that he played at the outset. He controlled himself and played to the situation.”

DK also shared his thoughts on fellow RCB team mate for the upcoming IPL and said that he looked in good touch and had a half-century too but Ashton Agar tempted Kohli to make a “Tactical error”.

“He made a tactical error. It was Ashton Agar’s last over. Should he have delayed that shot, considering he tried it in the previous over and it almost carried? He’d be very disappointed thinking that there was a chance for him to take the team through and he didn’t.”
