GLobal Esports won the BGMI Masters Series 2022 Grand Finals after five days of grueling competition. The grand finals featured 16 of the top Indian teams vying for glory and the champions title. It was the first time an esports competition has ever been live aired on Indian television.
Team Godlike, who took second place in the finals with 197 points, was followed in scoring by Global Esports, who totaled 201 points. Out of the 20 matches they played, only Global Esports’ team surpassed 200 points. With 192 total points, the second-place team was Orangutan.

The teams competing in the BGMI Masters Series 2022 Grand Finals shared a sizable prize pool of ₹75,000 INR. Global Esports received a prize check for ₹25,000 INR. The Most Valuable Player honour went to Jonathan from Team Godlike, while Soul Hector earned the most finish points in the championship game.
Global Esports has made history by becoming the first group to triumph in an esports match that was shown live on a major network. The contest lasted for four weeks and welcomed the best BGMI teams in India to compete for a staggering ₹1,50,000 INR in prizes. The teams will now resume play on July 21 in the BGMI Showdown. The PMWI Afterparty 2022 will be attended by the team that wins the BGMI Showdown.
