Football News: Manchester United Star Cristiano Ronaldo ‘ANGRY’ with Ralf Rangnick over derby call

Manchester city had recently beaten the arch-rivals Manchester United to 4-1 at etihad stadium and are still in the race of premier league ahead of Liverpool

Meanwhile, Manchester United Star, Cristiano Ronaldo was angry with Manchester united current manager, Ralf Rangnick as he didn’t include Ronaldo in Man Utd starting X1 to face Manchester City.

Manchester United legend, Ronaldo was missing especially from the team for Sunday’s derby and was not present at the Etihad.

It was only the second Premier League game Ronaldo had missed all season since his transfer from Juventus last summer.

United manager explained Ronaldo’s absence by stating that he had suffered a hip injury in training which prevented him from playing against Aston Villa.

“Cristiano had some problems with his hip flexor on Friday and since then, he didn’t train,” the Red Devils interim manager said ahead of kick-off.

Although, Rangnick confirmed the club physios ruled him out against Manchester Derby, Ronaldo was angry to know he would not be lining up to face arch rivals.

 

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner then decided to leave for portugal for unknown reasons, It also made some of his teammates shocked when he did not show up at training.

After the match, the united manager insisted once again Ronaldo is injured after sky sports pundit Roy Keane questioned whether there was something didn’t add up.

“I have to believe our medical department,” Rangnick said. “Our doctor came to me on Friday morning to say Cristiano couldn’t train because of some problems with his hip flexor and the same on Saturday.”
