She is a useful allrounder having capabilities to hit sixes for fun. She is one of the most consistent and confident players of English women’s cricket team. She is English and is of white ethnicity. She has a handful of 175 international matches but doesn’t have a Test cap yet. She is one of the few players in world cricket who have played 100 T20 internationals and scored two T20 international hundreds. Her flamboyant batting has impressed many.
Her early life
She was born on 22nd April 1991. Cricket was in her blood as her father is also a former cricket player who has played club cricket. She enrolled at Don Brenton Academy. At the age of 14, she was playing for Staffordshire cricket club.
At the age of 19, she was included in England women’s cricket team for the India tour. She made her T20 and One day International debut against India in Mumbai.

Professional career
She played for Staffordshire cricket club till 2013 before moving to Nottinghamshire. She played there for 2 years and then moved to Sussex. In 2015, she joined Melbourne Renegades for her first Big Bash stint. She joined Southern vipers in the inaugural Kia Super League. She is known for bowling tight lines and she is one of the best, not the best, fielders in World cricket.
She was a part of English team of the 2014 Women’s T20 World Cup. She has scored centuries in both ODIs and T20Is.
In 2017, she was also named as one of the players in ICC T20I Team of the year following her consistent performance throughout the year.
She has been a part of Melbourne Renegades in 2018-2019 Big Bash season.
In 2018 she scored a well compiled and one of the best T20 innings in Women’s cricket. In the Tri series, she scored 124(off 52 balls) runs against India and was only the second woman after West Indies’ Deandra Dottin to score two T20I hundreds. Her innings was only behind Australian great Meg Lanning’s 126. Her knock was also second fastest after Dottin’s miraculous effort from 38 balls.
In 2019, she scored her first one day century against Pakistan in Malaysia. In the same year she was awarded a full time contract by the ECB following her consistent performance.
Danielle Wyatt has also earned herself a place in English T20 World Cup team in 2020.
