The crucial match between India and Australia is currently taking place in New Delhi. As of the time I am writing, the Kangaroos have so far scored 108 runs on day 1 at the expense of 4 wickets, with Travis Head departing on 12 runs after being struck by a brilliant Shami delivery, which was caught brilliantly by KL Rahul.
The track has appeared to be fairly balanced thus far, and it all depends on how Australian batters would perform under these circumstances.
Pujara, who is playing in his 100th Test, as well as other former cricket players and analysts shared their thoughts on Pujara’s outstanding performances on Twitter in the game’s longest format.
I’ll provide some responses in the below format:
I said then and I say this today, he is a warrior. For me he is my soldier, like I had said after the Gabba Test. He is a warrior. Many congratulations to him on the 100th Test – @cheteshwar1 #pujara #Pujara100 #testcricket #cricket #indvsaus pic.twitter.com/TMD4yih1Mo

Playing 100 Test matches is tough but playing 100 Test matches for India is tougher.
Nasty bouncers on the field? He'll happily take it on his body. Nasty bouncers off the field? He'll happily take it on the chin.
Congratulations Cheteshwar Pujara🫱🏼🫲🏽 #INDvsAUS pic.twitter.com/ZhE1TzO1RN

Shastri described Pujara as a warrior and the person who repeatedly saved India.
Pujara has been a fixture of the Indian batting order for a while, and in the Gabba Test, where Gill and Pant played better innings, Pujara’s contribution was even more significant.
The top batsman kept India from capitulating to the powerful Australians in their backyard by facing devastating bouncers on his chest and guard.
India would be looking to win this game and extend their lead to 2-0 and they need to win series at all miles so that they can stand chance to qualify as another finalist of World Test Championship.
The final match will be played in June 2023 at Oval where Australia have already qualified as one of the finalist it will be keen to see whether Men in Blue will qualify as the second finalist.
