Calum Chambers is an English professional Footballer who plays as a defender for the England national team and the Premier League club Arsenal.
EARLY LIFE
Calum was born on 20 January 1995 in Petersfield, England. He made his debut from the Southampton as a part of his youth academy just from the age of seven.
PERSONAL LIFE
Calum is currently single and is focusing only upon his carrier. Calum likes to watch superhero movies a lot, his favorite superhero is DC main character, Superman.
CLUB CAREER
In 2012-13 season he after being promoted into the senior side of the club he made several appearances for the club playing in the Memorial Cup against Anderlecht, Evian Thonon, Etoile Carouge, Ajax and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
On 31st July 2013, he signed a new four-year deal with Southampton, but in the coming next year he signed Arsenal for on a long-term contract for an undisclosed fee.
On 2nd August 2014, he made his first appearances for Arsenal, opening in central defense in a 5-1 win with Benfica. He made his full 90 minutes debut for the club in the 2014 FA Community Shield tournament against the Premier League club Manchester City on 10 August 2014.
In 2016 he joined the premier league team Middlesbrough on loan just for a season.
In 2017 he made his return in the club but soon was send to Fulham on a new long-term loan contract. While playing for the Fulham he won the player of the season award.
After Fulham relegated from the Premier League, Chambers returned to Arsenal, on 24th September he played full 90 minutes match as a right-back to win the match against Nottingham East with 5-0.
INTERNATIONAL CAREER
Chambers made his debut for the national team as a part of its Under-17 team. On 26th September 2012, he made his step up to the England Under-19 team, playing 90 minutes.
On 5th June 2017, he was called up to England’s squad for the UEFA Under-21 Euros 2017 which held in Poland.
CONTROVERSY
In 2017 Chambers made controversial handball against West Brom in the 2017 Premier League match that ended in a 1-1 after a poor performance from both teams.
