India and Pakistan have faced other six teams in T20 World Cup and every time former has managed to register a victory against later and the current record stands at 6-0 in favor of Men in Blue and they will be next competing on 25th October 2021 at Dubai for the seventh encounter in T20 World Cup.
Considering the unpredictability of the Pakistan team and their experience of playing in UAE conditions more than any other cricket-playing nation in the world can possibly challenge India for the mega event.
As the Indian squad selected for T20 World Cup who are currently playing in IPL are not performing to the best of their ability which includes the long list of players like Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammad Shami, Surya Kumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, and Hardik Pandya is a big concern for India heading into T20 World Cup.
The one who is in reserves including the likes of Iyer, Chahar, and Thakur is doing much better than the one who is kept in 15 member squad as ICC has allotted 10th October 2021 time to all cricket playing nations to make final changes in their squad if they want to and it will be interesting to witness that whether India will make changes in T20 World Cup squad or not and if they don’t with the kind of form several Indian players have at the moment it will be a curse for the Indian team.
On the other hand, some of the players who are selected for the Pakistan T20 World Cup Squad are also not performing well in National T20 Cup and it is widely speculated in their national media that players like Azam Khan, Khushdil Shah, Sohaib Maqsood is likely to get replaced with Shoiab Malik, Sarfaraz Ahmed, and Shahanawaz Dahani.
Whenever these two arch-rivals face each other it is always a high octane clash as the team who held their nerve emerge as the winner and India has the upper hand over Men in Green in ICC tournaments is mainly because of holding their nerves at these crucial encounters whenever it mattered the most.
