On Sunday, Yuzvendra Chahal and AB de Villiers, the forever teammates for Royal Challenger Bangalore, met and got together in Mumbai.
They posted a picture on their Instagram accounts with the comment, “AB Sir Kinda Sunday…. how you doing? Forever.”

Due to his incredible adventure with RCB, AB de Villiers is one of the most renowned players and enjoys a great fan base in India. In 2021, he declared his retirement from all game formats. He has, however, always been an RCB supporter in his core.
Chahal joined Rajasthan Royals after RCB decided not to keep him during the massive IPL Auction in 2021.
“A trip to India would not be complete , who is now there, if he did not visit his bossom buddies” wrote De Villiers on his post.

De Villiers, who has 4,491 runs for RCB in 144 innings, was the pillar of the team’s batting order. In his time at RCB, he also scored two centuries and 37 fifties. His best mark was a 133*.
With an economy of 7.67, Chahal has collected 139 wickets in 113 games for RCB. His average for wickets taken is 22.04.
Regarding RCB’s performance in IPL 2023, the team fell short of making the playoffs despite Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis’ excellent efforts on their behalf throughout the competition.
