Delhi Capitals spinner Amit Mishra said that It will be too early to comment that this year of IPL 2020 will be more helpful to spinners. According to him, it can only be figured out once a few matches will be played in the upcoming edition of the cash-rich league.
UAE pitches are generally on the slower side. His statement came in response to the experts who are saying that only those team will be benefitted in this year of IPL 2020 who have more spinners in their squad.
“The condition so far has been neutral. I can’t say that whether it will support batsman or bowler more. When we start playing then we will have a clear picture and say whether it is helping batsman or the bowlers more” .
Delhi Capitals who reached in the playoffs after several editions in 2019 will be looking to repeat the same feat in the upcoming edition. Mishra believes that his side will again “be putting all the efforts to win matches”.
“We have lot of match winners in our team , we will do our preparations according to each team. We cannot underestimate any team, and need to treat everyone equally, ” the veteran spinner who will need 14 more wickets in IPL to become the leading wicket taker in IPL.
The IPL 2020 is all set to start from 19th September 2020 with two Champion teams Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings will lock horns against each other. Delhi Capitals will play their first match against Kings X1 Punjab on September 20th.
