Watch : Virat Kohli’s enacts dance steps on ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’

Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli, one of the best batters in the world, didn’t have the best of beginnings with the bat during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. In the first innings, the former India wicket-keeper only managed to score 12 runs on 26 balls. While Virat himself didn’t score enough runs, India’s 400-run first inning total was plenty for them to thrash Australia in the series opener. Kohli was evidently in a celebratory mood after India’s convincing victory and was seen imitating Shah Rukh Khan‘s “Jhoome Jo Pathaan” dancing moves.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, Kohli is seen circling the boundary rope with people like Mohammed Siraj, Ravindra Jadeja, and a few more. Even Jadeja gave in when he saw Kohli in his dancing shoes and joined the former captain.

Regarding the game, India’s spin twins Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja dismissed Australia for 91 runs in one session on the third day of play in Nagpur, giving the hosts a 1-0 series lead.

In the opening innings, off-spinner Ashwin took more Test wickets than 450; he now has 457. The second Test will take place in New Delhi on Friday between both the teams.
