Watch: Virat Kohli's Antics cracks up coach Rahul Dravid during 3rd Test

On Day 1 of the ongoing third Test against Australia, star India batter Virat Kohli was spotted having fun with head coach Rahul Dravid. While Kohli, who led India in scoring with a knock of 22, appeared confident, Todd Murphy’s ball, which kept low and struck Kohli on the pads, proved to be the game-breaker. Kohli (22 runs) also remained the highest scorer for team India in first innings of 3rd Test.

Following his dismissal, Kohli was spotted conversing with Dravid, who was giggling uncontrollably at the former India captain’s antics. On Day 1, the intriguing conversation was captured on camera.

In the first innings, India’s batsmen performed poorly as Australia spinner Matthew Kuhnemann wrecked havoc at the Holkar Stadium after the hosts elected to bat. On Day 1, Nathan Lyon took three wickets and Kuhnemann claimed his first five-wicket haul to dismiss India for 109. As the pitch went to be a rank turner, it resulted in a devastating loss for India’s batting line-up.

In the sixth over after India won the toss and decided to bat in the four-match series, Australia introduced spin in an effort to recover from two devastating losses.

Earlier, India made two adjustments to the squad that triumphed in Delhi, substituting Shubhman Gill for Rahul and Mohammed Shami for the rested fast bowler Umesh Yadav.

In the absence of Pat Cummins, Australia under Smith also made two adjustments. David Warner, who was unable to play in the final two games after suffering a fractured elbow and concussion in the second Test in Delhi, was replaced by Starc and Cameron Green, respectively.
