Twitter Erupts Pakistan Win: Pakistan has ended their 11-ODI losing streak after beating England by 14 runs in what was their second match in the World Cup 2019.

Batting first, Pakistan opening duo of Imam Ul-Haq and Fakhar Zaman played wonderfully in the first ten overs against the likes of Jofra Archer and Chris Woakes. The duo gave a wonderful start to the team, collecting as many as 69 runs in the first 10 ten overs without losing a single wicket which in fact set the tone for a mammoth total posted by Pakistan on Monday.

Pakistan experienced batsman Mohammad Hafeez played a sensational 62-ball 84 run knock who anchored Pakistan’s innings even as skipper Sarfaraz Khan and Babar Azam also scored half-centuries.

England, in reply, fell short of 14 runs as they could only manage to score 334 runs in the second innings. Joe Root and Jos Buttler both notched up centuries, however, despite their heroics, England ended as the losing side, courtesy a brilliant display of bowling from Mohammad Amir and Wahab Riaz.
