Even though they were not able to get a good start, still they managed to make a comeback in the game and snatch the victory from the Manchester Originals. The main credit for winning this match certainly goes to the great batting display of Neesham and Tom Curran. They both played fantastic Cricket and stayed not out till the end of the innings.

Match-winning partnership of James Neesham and Tom Curran
The start that Oval Invincibles got was certainly a losing one. The first wicket fell for no run. The score was 0-1. After that, the wickets kept on falling, and no one was able to stand in front of the bowling attack of Manchester Originals. Will Jacks showed some hope, but even he got out eventually. That is when the match-winning partnership started between James Neesham and Tom Curran. They both were determined to take the score further.
- Neesham came out to bat first. Just after 6 balls, the next wicket fell, and on the pitch Neesham and Curran both were under pressure to win the final.
- Neesham got boundaries consistently, and on the other hand, Tom Curran was able to get sixes consistently.
- Soon, they both were able to make a partnership that was required.
- Neesham and Curran took the score from 34 to 161. This was certainly a brilliant way to put pressure on the opponent team.
- In response Manchester Originals made sure that they were going to chase the target. But even after getting a fine start, they lost the momentum. They were able to score only 147 runs.
