India’s chances of winning the 2023 WTC final are still very much alive, despite their loss to NewZealand in the 2021 final. India has got the best all-rounders such as Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, and Axar Patel. The Indian team also includes world-class bowlers like Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj.

India Is Strong Contender to Win WTC Final
The overall bunch of world-class players in all departments make India a strong contender for the WTC final 2023. Although Australia has also got a long list of potential players who hold wonderful records in red-ball cricket. India will have the advantage of experience which Australia does not. There will be a tough fight between the two as both are among the strongest teams in the world.
The final of the World Test Championship will take place at the Oval. The wicket of the Oval is known to help batters although there are chances that the wicket is likely to provide a little bit of assistance to the bowlers, depending on the weather conditions.
The only advantage that India would have over Australia in the final is the experience. India has the upper hand in terms of experience as they qualified for the 2021 WTC final against New Zealand. Though India had lost to New Zealand in 2021.

Australia’s performance in the stadium cannot be compared to other teams. Australia has only won seven of its 38 games; the other seventeen have been in defeats, while 14 of their Test matches have ended in draws. Their winning percentage is 18.42%.
