Siddarth Kaul is a right-arm pace bowler who bowls at 130 kmph plays his first-class cricket for Punjab. He has done wonders for Punjab in first-class cricket. Kaul has been a regular performer for Punjab in domestic cricket for a long time.

Kaul made appearances for Punjab youth teams at Under 15, Under 17 and Under 19 levels. He did his schooling from Delhi Public School, New Delhi.

Siddarth Kaul made his Ranji Trophy debut for Punjab against Odisha in the 2007/08 season. He was a part of the winning team which won the ICC Under 19 World Cup in 2008. The right-arm medium pace bowler has featured for Kolkata Knight Riders.
In the 2016 season, Siddarth Kaul was purchased by Sunrisers Hyderabad. He was superb in the 2018 edition with 21 wickets from 17 matches which led him in selection to Indian T20I squad for England tour. He played 3 T20I matches for India with 4 wickets and then featured in ODI cricket. So far, Kaul has taken 0 wickets from 3 matches.
He was the 2nd highest wicket-taker in the 2012/13 Ranji Trophy season. Since his debut in 2007, Kaul has played 63 first-class matches (111 innings) and taken 232 wickets, 90 List A matches ( 90 innings) with 155 wickets and 104 T20s ( 104 innings) and 114 wickets.
Kaul was impressive once again in the 2019/20 Ranji Trophy season with 28 wickets this season. It was not enough for Punjab to reach the knockout stage. Siddarth Kaul has been a decent performer in IPL so far with 49 wickets from 45 matches with an economy of 8.47 runs per over. With another good performance in IPL 2020, he could be in the chance to feature in the World T20 to be played in October this year.
Siddarth Kaul showed his class in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2019/20 season with 16 wickets from 8 matches ( 8 innings) with best figures of 5 for 48. His efforts helped Punjab reach the knockout stage.

During the Under 19 World Cup in 2008, Siddarth Kaul performed brilliantly with 10 wickets from 5 matches and played an important role in the finals against South Africa. He averaged merely 15. In the 2012/2013 Ranji Trophy season, Kaul was the 2nd highest leading wicket-taker in Ranji Trophy.
He finished with a five-wicket haul in his Ranji Trophy debut in the 2007/08 season for Punjab and finished with figures of 5 for 97.
