Sachin Tendulkar congratulates Lewis Hamilton After his Record-Equalling Win in Germany

With every title Lewis Hamilton is clinching it is certainly evident that he is one of the best drivers that the sport has ever witnessed as he marches on by adding one more feather in his achievement after he won Eifel Grand Prix on Sunday. Meanwhile he has equaled the record of great Michael Schumacher’s  record of 91 F1 race victory. Cricket Legend Sachin Tendulkar who ardently follow the formula race sport praises Hamilton for his outstanding achievement.

He took to Twitter and wrote “”Since the time you’ve taken up the sport, you’ve been very special. I have always liked your grit and balanced aggression while driving the @F1 car. Congratulations on your 91st GP win equalling Schumacher’s record. Wishing you the very best for the future,”.

Hamilton has been superb with his ability to win tournament as he claimed seven victories from 11 races he has competed in last one year. The current world champion is well on his way to another driver’s title, with teammate Valteri Bottas falling 69 points behind.

He was lacking initially behind Botas who was marching on by taking huge lead but the mistake from the later cost him the game as his tyres was locked up and he had to retire midway due to engine problems allowing Hamilton and Red Bull’s Max Verstappen to duel it out for the win.

However Hamilton kept his cool and huge all his experience to take lead ahead of Verstappen in the third leap. Hamilton after winning his 91st Grand Prix paid tribute to Michael Schumacher after equaling his record.

“Seeing Michael’s dominance for so long I don’t think anyone especially me could ever think of getting near Michael in terms of records,”.
