Renowned director Neeraj Pandey joins hands with Voot select for producing documentary on India’s remarkable victory against Australia in latter’s backyard

Already a documentary on this iconic achievement have been created by Sony Sports and the latest to join the bandwagon is Voot select who joined hands with MS Dhoni movie director “Neeraj Pandey” for producing documentary of India’s astounding victory in Australia and the title of the show “Bande main tha Dum” which will showcase entire events unfolded during the series and will highlights the contribution from each and every team member.

 

Neeraj while taking to one of the media outlets, stated India recreated history during tough time of COVID-19 and the documentary should be made and showcased in a different way.

“The human stories in this cricketing fairy tale elevated the series beyond a cricketing audience and created huge euphoria across all segments of the Indian society. The nation was gripped and it was therefore befitting for us to bring the story to the people of India of one of the greatest comebacks in the history of sports and cricket,” Pandey was quoted by Republic World.

“Nothing excited me more than retelling this story which went beyond high-quality cricket, hard work, perseverance, determination, commitment, sportsmanship, and decoding the x-factor through the mind of the players which repeated the David Vs Goliath story,” Pandey added.

In the documentary we will be witnessing several top test cricketers like Ashwin, Siraj, Rahane, Pant & Pujara in behind the scene clippings even renowned journalist and coaches will also be part of that amazing documentary who were part of that iconic series.
