Both teams showed great competition, and till the end, it was really tough to predict the winner. - London Spirit got a dream start to the match, with the help of 46 runs opening stand between Lawrence and Rossington.
- Soon, Lawrence got out at the score of 24 runs. Michael Pepper came at the crease but departed soon at the score of 4 runs.
- Later on, Wade and the opener Rossington ensured that they both made a good partnership. A healthy 31 runs partnership between them took the team score from 50 to 81.
- At the end of 100 deliveries, the London Spirit was able to score 131 runs.
Oval Invincibles Innings
- Oval Invincibles didn’t get a good start. They were able to score only 24 runs for the loss of 3 wickets.
- After that Jordan Cox and Sam Curran ensured that they made a good partnership. They took the score from 24 to 71. This was certainly a brilliant way to save the team from collapsing.
- Later on, there were a few small partnerships that paved the road for the victory. The score was 113 for 7.
- In the last 9 balls, 19 runs were required. Sunil Narine who was brilliant with the bowl, got 13 of only 5 balls to make his team win.
So, in this manner, both teams were able to showcase a great match in front of the crowd. Sunil Narine was selected as the player of the match.
