Bengaluru Bulls Vs. Dabang Delhi K.C

Perhaps for the first time this season a match of high intensity was seen as Bengaluru Bulls pulled off an unbelievable victory against defending champions Dabang Delhi K.C by a margin of 4 points. Both the teams excelled in pressure situations and displayed their exceptional skill sets and this match will go down as one of the best matches ever in Pro Kabaddi League.

This was the table toppers’ third straight loss in a row and after a flying start they are now falling down to the ground. Delhi captain and Raider Naveen Kumar completed his 50th Super 10 in PKL and ended the night with 16 raid points. His Raiding partner Ashu Malik followed his suit to bring back 15 raid points but the lack of defensive standouts aided to their hard fought loss. The defenders could only gather a combined 6 tackle points which reflected on their tackle success rate of 20.69%.

Meanwhile, Bengaluru Bulls had a night to remember as they ticked all the boxes and came all guns blazing. Raiders Vikash Kandola (4 raid points), Bharat (20 raid points) and Neeraj Narwal (5 raid points) shared an outstanding 29 Raid points between them. Left Corner Saurabh Nandal picked up the highest tackle points in the match with 6 tackle points and helped Bulls maintain a tackle success rate of 30%.

Delhi had a raid success rate of 77.5% in front of Bulls’ 68.29%. The Final Score line at the end full time was 47-43.

Telegu Titans Vs. Gujarat Giants

Second match of Day 19 of Pro Kabaddi League season 9 action saw Telegu Titans lose yet another match by a margin of 11 points as they were at the receiving end of Gujarat Titans’ ruthless gameplay.

Lack of inspirational performances from a majority of players has been an issue since day 1 of season 9 and they still have no solution for that problem. Defender Ankit scored the highest number of points with 6 tackle points to his name.

Meanwhile, the Gujarat Giants displayed an outstanding team performance as their main Raider Rakesh, defender Sourav Gulia and All-Rounder Parteek Dahiya all scored 6 points each.

Telegu Titans maintained a poor raid strike rate of 13.95% whereas the Giants from Gujarat had a decent 27.91% raid strike rate. In terms of defence, the giants registered one of the highest tackle success rate this season with 86.67% and Titans had 47.37%.
