This fast paced sport asks for a lot of attention but in case you missed something, Sportzcraazy will guide you through the things you missed from each match day of PKL season 9.

In this article, we will put forth the Top 3 unprecedented events from PKL season 9 match day 22.

1. Dabang Delhi K.C lose their 5th straight match – The reigning champions Dabang Delhi K.C have dropped down to the third spot following their loss against Puneri Paltan yesterday. Despite putting up a great attacking performance, lately they have been struggling due to their defensive flaws. In the last 5 matches, Delhi had tackle success rates of 27.59%, 7.14%, 20.69%, 45.45% and 18.18% respectively. Even if their raiders gather up to 20 raid points combined, their defense has spoiled the season which they started very well. Their star performer in each of those losses was captain Naveen Kumar who brought back outstanding 60 raid points. However, lack of quality performances from other raiders have hurt them severely. Ashu Malik is the only player to reach double figures in last 5 fixtures. Malik has been performing well, but if Delhi are to come back on track in PKL 9, consistency is required.

2. For the 7th time a team has won by a gap of 2 points in PKL 9 – Yesterday’s second match between Haryana Steelers and Bengaluru Bulls ended in a scoreline of 29-27 in favor of Haryana. A team has won by a gap of 2 points only for the seventh time in PKL season 9. Previously UP Yoddhas, Bengaluru Bulls, Dabang Delhi K.C and Puneri Paltan  have achieved this feat so far with Delhi and Pune attaining it twice. Haryana joined the other 4 teams yesterday.

3. Puneri Paltan undefeated in their last 5 matches – Puneri Paltan had a slow start to the season but they are slowly coming back on track as they have won out of their last matches. They currently sit at the second spot with 32 points to their name. They defeated reigning champions Dabang Delhi K.C by 43-38 and they face UP Yoddhas in their next match.
