Muskan Kirar Biography
Indian archer Muskan Kirar was born in the year 2001. On March 7, of the year 2018, she took first place in the women’s compound final at the Archery Asia Cup stage-1 competition in the country Bangkok. Sazatul Nadhirah Zakaria, a Malaysian archer, was defeated by Muskan Kirar 139–136. Richpal Singh Salaria trained Muskan at the Madhya Pradesh Archery Academy in the city of Bhopal.
Muskan was raised in Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur. Muskan Kirar is the daughter of businessman Virendra Kirar and homemaker Mala Kirar.
Muskan Kirar won her first match of the competition with a score of 142 points against a Taipei opponent before triumphing in her subsequent encounter with a score of 145 points. Muskan Kirar defeated an Indonesian opponent in the quarterfinals with a score of 147 points before defeating a Malaysian opponent in the semifinals with a score of 148. With a victory over Malaysian Zakaria Nadhirah in the decisive match, Kirar earned the gold medal for her country India.
Muskan Kirar, the 31st-ranked archer in the world, of India, won the compound women’s title in the inaugural Taipei Archery Open, marking her debut on the world indoor circuit. She shared the top spot on the podium with Mike and Gaby Schloesser and Wei Chun-Heng.
In a tiebreak, Kirar defeated local archer Huang I-Jou with a superior score of 10.
The 22-year-old remarked, “It was a terrific experience. “I recently began practicing. I exclusively take photos outside; I didn’t take any indoors. I merely wanted to observe how these indoor competitions operate.
The previous victory for Kirar as an individual occurred on the outdoor continental circuit. She has won two Asia Cup stages, one each in 2018 and 2019.
In Taiwan or India, indoor archery is not very common. Each location’s environment makes outdoor activities possible all year long. Therefore, visitor Muskan, who was competing in the event for the first time, won it as Taipei hosted its first significant 18-metre competition in ten years.
Local archer and two-time Olympian Wei Chun-Heng won his maiden match in the Indoor Archery World Series. In the recurve men’s final, he defeated top-seeded Chinese Taipei colleague Su Yu-Yang.
