Liverpool FC was founded in the year of 1892 by John Houlding due to some dispute with Everton team. Liverpool FC is the most successful clubs in the history of professional clubs. They have been more successful both in international tournaments as well in the domestic tournaments. They are the most successful club of all time in English football history. They are the team that displayed the consistency by winning 18 league titles, 3 UEFA titles, 6 European Cups, 8 league cups,7 FA and 1 Fifa club world cup over the years. After clinching its second title in 1948 the club underwent a rough phase and demoted to division two. Then in 1954, there comes the saviour in the name of Bill Shankly. The team started performing well and gain promoted to division one in 1962. He was the most successful manager till date for Liverpool and he is also regarded as best manager by the international football community. During his tenure as a manager, the team went on to win two league titles, two FA Cups, and UEFA and European trophy once. Then he left the club by handing over the duties to his assistant paisley.

Things didn’t look different as a change in the mentor. Paisley followed the footsteps of Bill, under him, the team was most consistent and won six league titles, one UEFA Cup and three club cups and become more popular than before. He took the team to the next level and his tenure is marked as the golden era of Liverpool history. After Paisley, his assistant Joe Fagan took over the charge and continued the legacy. During 1985 European club final some fans led t the collapse of the perimeter wall and that led to the death of 39 people which is marked as Heysel disaster in the history book and this led to the ban of all teams for next five years.

After that incident, Liverpool started focusing on domestic tournaments and continues to dominate. During 1989 the semi-final clash against Nottingham Forrest 94 fans died due to crowd crush and this incident remains the worst disaster in the history of the English football. Then started downfall, the team was unable to maintain the Midas touch during the 1970s and 1980s. Then the team fared average i9n 1990s and 2000s still struggling to find the momentum that took them to reach several heights between 1870s and 1980s.Liverpool

 Liverpool proved to be best-attacking side and posted the best per shot in the competition, and this time they got their just reward. Their 2-0 victory over Tottenham hotspurs, not only delivered the Reds their sixth European Cup,  but it was the just reward for several seasons of evolution at Anfield under the stewardship of Klopp. 

The German inherited a mid-ranking Premier League side and catapulted them to the top of European’s elite thanks to excellent tactical reinvention and splendid player recruitment.
