Indian women’s cricket team had to lot of homework in order to become World beaters like their Men’s counterpart but for them to pull out that feat they have to work on their middle order for sure.

The experience Harmanpreet Kaur is struggling with the willow for quite some time now and she needs to find her groove back also in ODI cricket too much dependency is on skipper Mithali Raj to take the team home through at pressure moments of the game.

The other batters need to step up who can complement Mithali really well the positive thing about the current women’s squad is their top-order batting where Shefali and smriti have compliment each other really well and on several occasions, in the last 12 moments they have given perfect start to Women in Blue.

When it comes to fast bowling we have Pooja Vastrakar, Arundhati Reddy but still loads of work needs to be done by them as still for pressure moments of the game Indian team is looking up to experience Jhulan Goswami.

India is currently playing series against Australia where they scored 235 runs odd from 50 overs which is less as per International standards and you need power hitters in middle to convert those 230 odd runs to 300 and 320.

The point that we need to take into consideration is that most of the Australian fast bowlers are not playing the current series as the management is taking care of their workload and also Indian team management needs to think about building players for the future under the guidance of Mithali and Jhulan as these legendary players can’t be playing for another 5-6 years.

Also, BCCI needs to regularly organize Women’s IPL so that more budding players can come through the ranks which will benefit Indian cricket in long run.
