Ryan Parmeter, popularly known by his ring name Konnor, is an American professional wrestler, currently working with World Wrestling Entertainment. Parmeter started his wrestling career with Independent wrestling units as Ryan O’Reilly.
Parmeter signed a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment in 2005, and was assigned to to its developmental territory Deep South Wrestling (DSW), where he bagged DSW Heavyweight Championship twice.
In 2010, Parmeter changed his ring name to Conor O’Brian. He became one of the founding members of The Ascension that also include Kenneth Cameron, Tito Colon and Raquel Diaz.
Konnor held several championships around his waist that include CCW Heavyweight Championship once, CCW Tag Team Championship once with Sean Allen, FSCW Heavyweight Championship and Tag Team Championship with Jeff “J-Dawg” Brooks once, GCW Heavyweight Championship once, KPW Heavyweight Championship twice, MPW Television Championship once, NWA Sunray Heavyweight Championship and NXT Tag Team Championship once with Viktor, that lasted for 364 days.
EARLY LIFE
Parmeter was born on February 6, 1980 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States. Parmeter went to the School of Hard Knocks in southern Florida, where he took training from Rusty Brooks and made his wrestling debut in 2001.
PERSONAL LIFE
Parmeter resides in Orlando, Florida, United States. He started dating fellow professional wrestler Kristin Eubanks as Krissy Vaine in 2006. Soon after they got engaged, the couple gave birth to their first child in 2017 named Elijah.
PROFESSIONAL LIFE
Parmeter began his professional wrestling career in 2001 by taking training at the School of Hard Knocks in southern Florida under Rusty Brooks. He began to compete at Four Star Championship Wrestling (FSCW) under the ring name Ryan O’Reilly. He formed a tag team with J-Dawg, known as “The Irish Thug Connection”. He was also a part of Florida’s Coastal Championship Wrestling (CCW) where he won the CCW Heavyweight Championship.
In 2005, O’Reilly signed a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), and was assigned to its developmental territory Deep South Wrestling (DSW) where he won the DSW Heavyweight Championship.
He was also appeared in Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). Parmeter started wrestling for Independent wrestling platforms in 2007 until 2010. During that time, he joined NWA Charlotte.
O’Reilly rejoined World Wrestling Entertainment in 2010 and was reassigned to the FCW developmental territory. Under the new ring name Conor O’Brian, a new formation was made as The Ascension, with members including O’Brian, Kenneth Cameron, Tito Colon and Raquel Diaz. In 2013, Conor O’Brian shortened his name to “Konnor”. Konnor, alongside Viktor, made his main roster debut in 2014, and defeated Los Matadores (Diego and Fernando) in a tag-team match.
At WrestleMania 31, The Ascension made their WrestleMania debut in the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal where both failed to win the match.
Konnor made his video game debut in WWE 2K15 and later appeared in WWE 2K16, WWE 2K17, WWE 2K18 and WWE 2K19.
