Kings XI’s Late Surge to Take on Delhi’s All Round Skill

Kings X1 will look to continue the winning streak when they take on table topper Delhi Capitals at Dubai International Stadium. Kings have won their last two matches not Inna convincing way but have got required four points and have moved to sixth place in table. Delhi have managed to win their both matches, coming from behind wins and would fancy their chances against Kings and thereby consolidating their position at top spot.

First innings death bowling seems to be a worry for teams as around 60-65 runs are being scored in last five. Both teams would look to improve on that account by picking wickets . Starting with Kings X1 Punjab their batting looks more dangerous now with Gayle at number three . Their openers have been sensational with both occupying the top two slots as highest run getters.

Delhi Capitals will be high on confidence with 7 wins in 9 games and last one coming by chasing 17 runs in final over of chase. Shikhar Dhawan has been scoring runs in last three matches and that has made Delhi team a different team altogether. With Pant and Hetmyer coming back for next game the Delhi team looks completely in command . Their pace and spin bowlers have been at opposition batsman all the time. The game against Royals where they defended 39 of 30 balls was a testimony to fact they they have been best bowling side of tournament. Even their 5th bowler in Tushar /Stoinis have done well.

The match at Dubai could very well be a match between Kings X1 batting and Delhi Capitals bowling. Delhi have made winning a habit and this drives the team in winning matches in which their backs are against wall.
