Early Life
Tamil Nadu-native Jeeva Kumar was born on 6th January 1981. He was raised near the southernmost tip of India, Kanyakumari.
He started his professional career with his state team at the SAFF games. He then went on to represent India at the Asian Games and has an Asian Games gold to his name.

Jeeva Kumar Pro Kabaddi Career
Jeeva Kumar played for U Mumba in the inaugural edition of Pro Kabaddi League and was an integral part of a wonderful campaign. He continued to play for them for 3 seasons, before moving a move to UP Yoddha, where he played 2 seasons. He was bought by Bengal Warriors in the Pro Kabaddi Season 7 auctions for 31 lakh.
