#1. Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli is IPL’s all-time highest run-scorer, with 5412 runs at an average of 37.84. In 2016, Virat broke various records when he scored 973 runs in 16 matches at an average of 81.80. He scored 4 centuries in that season itself. Very few batsmen are capable enough to match the standards of the Indian run machine.

With his captaincy record and run-scoring ability, he has been one of the ultimate stars of the league. Rohit in the inaugural seasons was a part of the Deccan Chargers franchise and letting him go is one of the biggest blunders in the IPL history.

He has pilled up 4706 runs in 126 matches at an average of 43.17 with a strike rate of 142.39. David Warner has 44 half-centuries to his name. He was a part of Delhi Daredevils before he joined Sunrises Hyderbad and later captained them to lift the trophy in 2016.

A former partner in crime of David Warner, Shikhar Dhawan has been known for his consistency when playing for Sunrises Hyderabad. He was traded in by Delhi Capitals in the previous season. Shikar has managed to score 4579 runs in 159 matches at an average of 33.42. Hyderabad’s decision of letting him go might prove to be another blunder in IPL as his partnership with David-Dhawan had contributed the maximum amount of Hydrebad’s run in the past few seasons.
