Indian team rumoured to don Retro color jersey for the upcoming Australian Tour

Indian team is ready to face their upcoming challenge against Australia and if reports are to be believed they will be donning retro colour jersey in the upcoming series. The retro jersey will have the same look that men in Blue wore in 1992 World Cup. India tour of Australia will start from three-match ODI series where the first ODI will start from November 27th and 29th that will be played at Sydney Cricket while the third and First ODI will take place in the Manuka Oval. Thereafter, the teams return to Sydney for the remaining two T20Is.

The retro jersey that Indian team will be wearing will have a Navy Blue shade, a shift from the conventional sky blue colour that the team has been wearing in last few years. The Indian jersey will have MPL written as Kit sponsor as they have replaced Nike. MPL sports have signed a three new year deal with BCCI. Australia’s men’s team will wear an Indigenous shirt for the first time in the T20 series against India early next month.

After the competition of the limited over series, it will followed by Test series between two great sides where Indian team has to performed extremely well to retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The biggest setback for the Indian team will be absence of Virat Kohli who has taken paternity leave after playing first test against Australia. However Rohit Sharma has been added for the Test squad but it will not be easy challenge for Indian team to outclass Australian team in their backyard especially in presence of their prime batsman David Warner and Steven Smith.
