He hails from Uttar Pradesh, where he marked 84.39 m during National Games held earlier this year and he will be looking to clock more than 85 meters and Qualify for World Championships in Tokyo this September.

He is also compared to Pakistani Star Javelin Thrower Arshad Nadeem who won Gold Medal where he clocked 92.97 meter. due to height and ability to generate release based on he start from the beginning.
