India vs West Indies: Ishan Kishan Thanks Rishabh Pant for his fifty

India is 1-0 ahead in the 2 matches Test series against West Indies. However, they are aiming to white the opponents. For that, it can be said that India opted Bazball technique. That has even worked for the Indian team. In the 2nd inning of the Test match, India wanted to ensure that they put a fine target on the board to ball out the West Indies team. However, the time was not enough for that target to be achieved. That is the reason we saw the Bazball show by the Indian batters. Ishan Kishan ensured to make full use of this opportunity.

Quick-fire 50 by Ishan Kishan and other batters

When India came out to bat in the second inning, it was necessary for them to ensure that they perform well and quickly. For that the reins were given to the openers, and later the batsmen to arrive were to follow the same. 

• Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma ensured to bat with a strike rate of over 100 runs. They gave a brilliant start to the team, with the opening partnership of 98 runs. 
• Jaiswal scored 38 runs on only 30 balls, and on the other hand, Rohit Sharma showed his true class. Sharma for 57 runs only on 44 balls. 
• However, that performance was not enough. More runs were needed, at a much quicker pace. 
• Later on, Isha Kishan came out to bat at a much quicker rate. Against all odds, he went on to score the quickest fifty of the match. Before the match was declared, his final score was 52 on only 34 balls. In that inning, he scored 4 fours and 2 sixes.

Ishan Kishan ensured that he shares the credit with Rishabh Pant. That is because he was at the NCA before coming for the West Indies tour. Rishabh Pant gave him a few tips regarding his bat position, and that really helped him to score runs quickly. 

It is great to see the respect Ishan Kishan is having for Rishabh Pant. Now it will be interesting to see when Rishabh makes a comeback to the field and shows his class.
