I don’t mind playing MS Dhoni role in white ball format for India: Hardik Pandya

Hardik Pandya

Recently, India defeated the Black Caps in back-to-back ODI and T20I series, led by two different captains in Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya.

Sharma deserves praise for his dominance in one-day internationals, while Pandya deserves praise for his clever T20I decision.

India defeated the Black Caps by a record 166 runs in the most recent T20I after they scored 235 runs in the first innings.

Gill put up a standout performance with the willow, complementing other hitters as he scored his stunning century.

Gill and Hardik Pandya intelligently rotated the strike, ensuring that they scored more than 100 runs for the fourth wicket.

Harm was doneΒ  to Black Caps when Pandya was out for 30 runs.

Pandya also secured 4 wickets with the ball and received praise for his masterful field adjustments and bowling rotations.

Pandya answered, “I would love to mimic the role of MS Dhoni as the finisher in white ball cricket when it comes to batting,” when questioned about his role and approach to his batting in the most recent T2OI.

He continued by saying that although he enjoys hitting sixes, the game’s requirements call for strike rotation in light of the game’s circumstances.

Pandya continued, “I want to give the other batters in the middle the sense that they can play their shots freely.”

India will be next locking horns against Australia for four match Test series which will be part of Border- Gavaskar trophy and Kangaroos would be looking to avenge their last two series defeat against Men in Blue.
