''Captain Cool once lost his temper'' Harbhajan Singh Reveals Shocking Story About MS Dhoni

MS Dhoni is known as ‘Captain Cool’ for his cool attitude and composure on the ground, which has enabled the wicket-keeper batsman to lead India to victory in the most trying of circumstances. Many people believe that Dhoni is an expert at managing his emotions because it happens so infrequently that he loses his cool in front of others.

Harbhajan Singh, a former India captain who has played with Dhoni for a very long period, described an instance in which “Captain Cool” flung his bat away out of frustration.

Harbhajan recalled a practise game where Dhoni’s team struggled in Jharkhand. The former India captain entered the dressing room and threw his bat so forcefully that the handle shattered.

“We had been having fun in Jharkhand. We were having a warm-up game session. Our own teams had been formed, and Dhoni’s squad was falling behind. Then he came at the last and he threw his bat so badly the handle snapped. During the commentary, Harbhajan said to Sanjay Manjrekar.

As he continued to become the wicket-keeper with the most catches in the game’s shortest format, Dhoni broke a T20 cricket “world record.” The previous record-holder was Quinton de Kock, but the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain now tops the list.

Before the game began, Dhoni and De Kock were tied for first place, each having taken 207 catches in T20 cricket. Dhoni overtook De Kock to claim the top slot for himself after Aiden Markram’s catch on Maheesh Theekshana’s bowling during the game.

There are more Indians in the top 5 besides Dhoni. Dinesh Karthik, the wicketkeeper for Royal Challengers Bangalore, is only three catches behind Dhoni on the list.
