Big Breaking: Royal Challengers Bangalore signed Michael Bracewell as Will Jacks’ Replacement

The sixteenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will be starting on march 31. This season of IPL is back to its original home after a long gap of four years due to covid. However, before the start of the sixteenth edition of the IPL some players who were sold at good prices got injured. And Will Jacks is the first overseas player who got injured and ruled out of the entire season. Nevertheless, Will Jack has been replaced by another overseas player.

Michael Bracewell of New Zealand will replace injured English batter Will Jacks in the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) lineup for the sixteenth edition of the Indian premier league. Jacks, who was purchased by RCB for Rs 3.2 crore at the players’ auction in December last year, suffered a muscular injury while fielding during England’s second ODI against Bangladesh earlier this month.

Bracewell’s was acquired by the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for INR 1 crore. Bracewell was unsold at the auction but drew attention with a spectacular hundred in Hyderabad during the ODI series in India.

However, the Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Caps, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Rajasthan Royals are yet to announce the replacement of their respective injured players. Kyle Jamieson is another player who got injured and ruled out of the entire season of the IPL. In the 16th season of the Indian Premier League, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) signed South African pacer Sisanda Magala to replace New Zealand fast bowler Kyle Jamieson. Jamieson, who was ruled out of the competition due to injury, was acquired by the franchise for Rs 1 crore on Sunday, March 19th, according to the IPL Governing Council.

Ben Stokes, who cost the squad a staggering Rs 16.25 crores, acquired by Chennai Super King is out due to a knee injury. Punjab Kings is also currently on the lookout for a replacement for Jonny Bairstow. Bairstow was acquired by PBKS for Rs. 6.75 crores. He shattered his left leg and dislocated his ankle while playing golf in September.

The Rajasthan Royals are also looking for a substitute for renowned Indian spinner Prasidh Krishna, who is currently out with a stress fracture.
