Bajrang Punia and Vinesh Phogat helped their fellow wrestlers so that they can start their practice ahead of Tokyo Olympics 2021

Wrestler Bajrang Punia all excited about the Tokyo Olympics next year

India’s biggest Olympic medal hopes including the likes of Bajrang Punia and Vinesh Phogat in the field of Wresting for the upcoming marquee event which is all set to start from 23rd July 2021.

Bajrang is currently in Russia whereas Vineesh is practicing in Hungary to make sure that there should not be any stone unturned ahead of the biggest sporting event in the world.

The reason why these two ace wrestlers are hitting the headlines as they came in the rescue of their fellow counterparts who was facing trouble in conducting their practice in India as the country is hit by the deadly second wave of COVID-19.

Keeping this in mind, the Wrestling Federation of India(WFI) requested Bajrang and Vinesh to talk to respective Russian and Hungary officials to accommodate practice for other Indian wrestlers.

As per the latest developments,  with an effort of Bajrang and Vinesh other Indian male and female wrestlers including the likes of Deepak Punia, Ravi Punia, and Anshu Malik who will be practicing in Russia and Hungary respectively.

This is the biggest news for Indian wrestling players as the majority of the countries are not granting permission to India as the latter country is at the red list due to a spike in COVID-19 cases.

It will be interesting to see how many medals will India clinch in the upcoming Tokyo Olympics 2021.
