Aniket Choudhary is an Indian left-arm fast-medium bowler who plays domestic cricket for Rajasthan. Aniket Choudhary was born on 28 January 1990 in Bikaner, Rajasthan. He has played for Rajasthan since 2011, has represented India A, and played in the Indian Premier League for Royal Challengers Bangalore. He has not played for the senior India team.
Choudhary is a left-arm pace bowler. He bats right-handed in the lower order. His best first-class figures are 6 for 27 against Odisha in the 2015-16 Ranji Trophy.
Domestic career
Choudhary made his first-class debut for Rajasthan in 2011. In the 2018-19 Ranji Trophy he was Rajasthan's leading wicket-taker in the group stage, with 47 wickets in eight matches. He was named in the India Blue squad for the 2019-20 Duleep Trophy and played for India A in 2013.
In October 2024, in the 2024-25 Ranji Trophy, he took 3 for 28 and 5 for 66 against Himachal Pradesh in Dharamsala and was named Player of the Match as Rajasthan won by eight wickets.
IPL career
Choudhary was in the Kings XI Punjab squad in 2013 but did not play a match. At the 2017 IPL auction Royal Challengers Bangalore bought him for Rs 2 crore, 20 times his base price, and he made his IPL debut that season. RCB bought him again at the 2018 auction for Rs 30 lakh.
