70th All India Railway Kabaddi Championship Final : Central Railways beat Northern Railways by a huge difference

After 2 days of non-stop kabaddi action at the 70th All India Railway Kabaddi Championship, Central Railways met Northern Railways at the Finale on 29th December 2022. We witnessed some extremely exhilarating matches and Central Railways ended up becoming the champions.

It was a one-sided affair from the beginning of the match itself as CR’s experience and potential was much higher than their opponents’. The Champions did not have shortage of talented and well experienced players. The likes of Pankaj Mohite from Puneri Paltan, Shrikant Jadhav from Bengal Warriors Ajinkya Pawar from Tamil Thalaiavas helped them defeat Northern Railways by a margin of 13 points.

The quality of CR’s players was just too much for the NR players as Pankaj Mohite, Ajinkya Pawar and Shrikant Jadhav kept on pulling the triggers and stole points after points. It was 28-11 at the end of half-time. The defense also had its say as Shubham Shinde, Rohit Parte and Sandeep Dhull made it difficult for NR’s raiders to settle in.

And once the second half began, Central Railways kept their dominance intact and hurt their opponents even more. In the second half, NR scored 19 points in total, while CR’s formidable force amassed 15 points more. Northern Railways made a comeback in the later stages of the game when it was too late.

Meetu Sharma, Sumit and Amit tried their best but Central Railways were far ahead of them. Final score line at the end of full time was 43-30. With this win, Central Railways have become the Champions of 70th All India Railway Kabaddi Championship.
