Zinedine Zidane elated after his team’s victory over Eibar

Real Madrid’s manager Zinedine Zidane is delighted after his club registered a victory against Eibar stating that his side displayed a “very strong” performance.

Zidane quoted the statement on the club’s official website where he said: “Everything about the first half was good and it was 3-0, so maybe we relaxed.”I don’t know, it’s something completely different, but we have to adapt.

“We found it difficult in the second half. I don’t know if it was the physical side, but we weren’t on it. “The first half was good and convincing. It’s three important points. There are ten games left.”

But Marca claims that Zidane was simply saving his rage for the dressing room. The former Real Madrid superstar is claimed to have to rip all his players when his side almost gives away to the winning positions on several occasions. including the nervy wins over Levante and Granada.

However, Zidane was buoyed by the impressive return of Eden Hazard who has missed much of the season through injury and struggled for form from it.

Hazard lasted an hour in the win over Eibar where Real Madrid defeated Eibar by  3-1 on Saturday with his boss satisfied with his comeback ahead of a crucial game against Valencia and Real Sociedad.

Currently, Real Madrid holds the second rank on the La Liga table with 59 points which is two points behind first-place Barcelona.

Zidane will be happy with his club performance as there is a lot of things at stake for Real Madrid at the moment especially for Zidane as the club has lost some crucial matches in the past and winning against Eibar gives a strong statement that Real Madrid is finding their old winning streak back.
