Yuva Kabaddi Series 2022 : Monsoon edition has been a very successful and eventful tournament. The tournament has given opportunities to many unknown players to leave an impact in front of the potential scouts and go all the way to play in higher levels of Kabaddi.

Certain players are also playing in India’s top tier Pro Kabaddi League and this goes on to speak a lot about the type of talents that Yuva Kabaddi Series is nurturing. In this article, Sportzcraazy will reveal the Top 5 Raiders from this edition who ripped off every defence they came up against.

  1. Vishal Chahal – Hampi Heroes Raider Vishal Chahal has been a very influential player for the team and his contribution towards Hampi’s run to the Finals is priceless. His athleticism, strength and mobility immensely helped Hampi as they became the first finalists of this edition. They are highly favourites to win the Final tomorrow and they will be keeping a close eye on the Eliminator 4 contest later today as the match will determine Hampi’s opponent for tomorrow’s Final. Vishal Chahal, who mainly play as a Right raider has won a whopping total of 327 Raid points in just 27 matches for the Heroes. He completed 17 Super 10s, scored 12.1 raid points per match by maintaining an unreal raid strike rate of 75.69%.
  2. Nitin Kumar Dhankhar – Another Hampi Heroes Raider Nitin Dhankhar has also been very instrumental behind their run to the final. Although he has played 9 matches less than Vishal but he has supported the team whenever they needed him. It remains a doubt if he will be available to feature in the final tomorrow or not but in 16 fixtures, Nitin Dhankhar brought back a total of 257 raid points. Dhankhar had a far better raid strike with 87.41%, scored 16.1 raid points per match and completed 11 Super 10s.
  3. Mandeep Kumar – Murthal Magnets raider Mandeep Kumar has been the best player for the team throughout the Monsoon edition of the Yuva Kabaddi Series. He acted as the main man for the team in a lot of occasions and he is perhaps the reason why Murthal Magnets are still vying for a spot in the Final. The youngster has showed signs of becoming a top class raider in the future. As a matter of fact, he has the potential to play in the PKL someday. With 235 Raid points to his name, Mandeep completed 13 Super 10s and maintained an impressive raid strike rate of 66%.
  4. Ankit Kumar Rana – Kaziranga’s Left raider Ankit Kumar Rana is the 4th most successful raider this season. The Rhinos were very close to reach the Finals but they had to suffer a one-sided defeat to the hands of Murthal Magnets in Eliminator 3. They will be disappointed to miss out on the final but Ankit Rana’s performance has been commendable. In 24 matches, he attempted 343 raid and brought back 233 Raid points including 12 Super 10s. He scored 9.7 raid points per match with 28 Bonus points and maintained a raid strike rate of 67.93%.
  5. Nikhil Chaudhari – Maratha Marvels might not have reached the qualifying stages but Nikhil Chaudhari has been a great revelation for the team. He gave his all inside the mat and gave his level best for the betterment of the Marathas. In 25 matches, Nikhil collected a total of 207 raid points including 32 Bonus points, won 8.3 raid points per match with a decent raid strike rate of 59.82%.
