Yuva Kabaddi Series 2022 : Eliminator 4 – Aravali Arrows Vs. Murthal Magnets

The Yuva Kabaddi Series Monsoon Edition is about to reach its climax with the Finale scheduled to take place tomorrow – 19th of October. Today 2 teams will be squaring up for the 4th Eliminator as Aravalli Arrows will lock horns with Murthal Magnets.

 

Both the teams have worked really hard to reach the Eliminators and played some exciting Kabaddi throughout the Survival, Booster, Challenger and Summit rounds. Aravalli and Murthal have met each other 4 times in the Yuva Kabaddi Series and they have won 2 each.

However, the 5th meeting between the two in Eliminator 4 is perhaps the most important fixture as the winner will go all the way to the finals to face Hampi Heroes. Aravalli Arrows have won 18 out of their 29 matches in the YKS monsoon edition and they will look to go forward to the Finals too.

Arrows have some extremely talented and well-built players who have stood up for the team at the most crucial stages. Raider Vishal Choudhary has been the best player for Arrows’ as he is 8th most successful raider this season withย 205 raid points. His team mate, All-rounder Arjun Choudhary is also among the Top 10 raiders of the tournament with 195 raid points.

Their defence consists of players like Lokesh Ghosliya (99 tackle points) (52.30% tackle success rate), Chetan Kumar (67 tackle points), Gangaram (39 tackle points), Ankit Jat (31 tackle points), Rajendra Bhakarย (31 tackle points), Manish Sharma (27 tackle points), Kapil Gurjar (23 tackle points) and Anuj Saini (18 raid points).

The Murthal Magnets on the other hand have several players listed among the Best raiders, best defenders and Top Super 10 list. Raider Mandeep Kumar withย 237 raid points is the 3rd most successful raider this season whereas Akash Deshwal is at number 6 with 207 raid points to his name.

Mandeep Kumar also has the 3rd most Super 10s in the tournament with with 13 Super 10s and maintained an impressive raid strike rate of 66% throughout the tournament.

Other raiders Umesh Panwar (131 raid points), Ajay Kumar (78 raid points), Rajesh Kumar (66 raid points) and Sandeep Kumar (50 raid points) have also helped the team to reach the later stages of the tournament.

In terms of defence, the 6th and 7th spot among the Top 10 defenders have been taken by Sanjay Enania (86 tackle points) and Sanjay Krishan Dhull with (84 tackle points) respectively.

Ahead of the battle between the two teams schedule to take place at 5:30 PM today, Murthal Magnets head coach Anil Dhull had a brief conversation with Sportzcraazy, where he revealed that the team is fully prepared for the challenge and they are expecting to win the 4th Eliminator. Anil Dhull also said that they are mentally prepared to win this major game and believes that the Magnets from Murthal can play the Final against Hampi Heroes tomorrow.
