WPL Auction: Jemimah, Lanning or Shafali who will be the next captain for Delhi Capitals?

Since the WPL was moving along at a slow rate when the 2023 auction began, many supporters believed that top players would not be selected.

They changed their gears late but once they done that there was no going back for them as they picked some of the top Indian and Overseas players in their squad which include Meg Lanning, Shafali Verma and Jemimah Rodrques and others.

Who will lead the Delhi Capitals as captain in the future is a valid issue.

Meg Lanning has the greatest experience out of the group based on prior performance, having successfully guided Australia to three World Cup victories.

The other lot of Shafali Verma and Jemimah Rodriques are pretty new where the former has recently guided India women’s Under 19 team towards successfully clinching  the title.

Rodriques wasn’t consistent with the willow and her recent batting masterful innings for 53 runs and complement from Richa Ghosh from the other end ensured that Women in Blue cross the line over arch-rivals Pakistan.

Delhi Capitals have picked best domestic players  some of the top Under 19 world cup winning stars including Titas Sadhu for INR 10 Lakh.
