Titas Sadhu is a Chinsura born West Bengal cricketer who was awarded as the man of the match in the inaugural ICC U-19 Women’s T20 World cup. She mainly operates as a Bowler and is a Right arm-medium pacer. Titas Sadhu traveled a lot during her childhood due to her father’s posting and her earliest experience of cricket was visiting her ancestral cricket club – Rajendra Smriti Sangh.
Although she was not really fond of Cricket initially but during her visit to the cricket club one day, the match was called-off due to bad weather and that’s when her father asked Titas to throw the ball and Ranadeep (her father) realized she has a talent.
She began with Swimming and Table tennis but thanks to her father, Cricket became her thing. Titas only had to pick cricket and history followed her trail. After making her International debut for the U-19 team in 2022, she became the first Bengal born cricketer to win a man of the match award in World cup as she took 6 wickets in one the fixtures.
In the WPL, Titas has thrown her name in the hat and will hope to get picked by any of the 5 franchise.
