In March 2023, the Women’s IPL is scheduled to take place in Navi Mumbai and Mumbai, with five franchises vying for the overall championship.
According to Insidesport, the main event would last for 22 days. The closed bid auction that was scheduled for February 6, 2023, will instead take place on February 13.’
Mumbai will host the close bid auction because, according to the report, all five franchises have agreed to travel there for meetings and because it would be simple for BCCI to set up logistics there.

Ahmedabad-based franchise has acquired the services of Mithali Raj as mentor.
Delhi Captials director of Cricket, Sourav Ganguly has stated that the management has approached former India bowler Jhulan Goswami as bowling coach for the franchise.
