Why Indian Hockey is Probably in the Best Phase to Win World Cup after1975?

Indian Hockey Team is on the rise and credit should be given to all stakeholders who have worked hard behind the scenes to make this entity extremely popular.

Indian Hockey have been winning back to back medals when it comes to Olympics it all started with Bronze medal in Tokyo Olympics 2020.

They subsequently went on to win another Bronze Medal in Paris 2024.

The credit for this massive rise should be given to Hockey India and Orissa Government for being Title sponsor who supported national team in last 10 years.

India have so far only won World Cup once in the year 1975 and debutant Onkar Singh stated while talking to distinct media outlets- Indian Hockey World Cup will be held next year Wavre, Belgium, Amsterdem and Netherlands.

“I wish the Present Indian Hockey team is too good and if they play 70-80% to their potential they would certainly win medals for India in the Upcoming World Cup to be held next year”

The Mumbaiker, player hailing were part of 1975 World Cup winning team member stated “If you look at offence and defence of Indian Hockey team it looks good strong, to win Hockey World Cup title to be held next year”

A Book has been written by Errol D Cruz and K Arumugam- Former India Hockey Captain along with Olympian Viren Rasquinha.

Indian Hockey is on the rise and they need to work on the Psychological aspect of the game if these things are kept in consideration they can give tough time to best teams across the world.
