Hardik Pandya or Shardul Thakur in the playing X1 against Pakistan yes you heard it right this question might pop in the mind of all Indian cricket fanatics but the answer for this tricky ask by fans will be answered on the eve of matchday against Pakistan on October 24th, 2021 in Dubai.

Hardik Pandya who hardly haven’t bowled in the last 12 months and also recent two warm-up matches played by India and it is almost confirmed that he would not be bowling in the match against Pakistan but will be given the role of finisher to complete the job for Men in Blue in the marquee event.

Taking about Shardul Thakur, who has been given recently the name “Lord”  after his heroics at the home of cricket against England where he outplayed three Lions with both bat and ball. With MS Dhoni being the mentor of Men in Blue for the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021 it is likely a chance that Shardul Thakur who plays under the leadership of Captain Cool might get a nod for the opening clash against Men in Green in Dubai.

Ideally, if we explore all bowling options the experienced trio including the likes of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammad Shami, and Jasprit Bumrah, and spine bowlers like Ashwin, Jadeja must be playing to add more depth to the batting lineup.

Considering these options, Thakur would not be part of playing X1 and Pandya will be given a go-ahead and even he doesn’t bowl India will go with three specialist bowlers and two spinners in the most anticipated clash against Pakistan.

After playing against Pakistan they will be next locking horns against Black Caps followed by a match against Afghanistan and two other qualifiers. India will be playing their last league stage match on 8th October 2021. If India manages to qualify further they will compete in the semifinal berth which is stated to be played on 10th and 11th October 2021 and top two teams who will win that semifinal will be competing for one last time in the tournament for the title on October 14th 2021 in Dubai.
