In the 5 match series between West Indies vs India, West Indies has already managed to win 2 matches out of those 5. However, the IPL star Sanju Samson is certainly under the scanner because of his poor performance in the first two games against West Indies. He was selected due to the reputation he is having in the IPL. However, it looks like he is not living up to that reputation.

Today, the third T20 between West Indies and India is going to be played. If India loses this match, then they are also going to lose the series. It looks like due to this pressure, Sanju Samson might end up losing his place in the team. However, even if he will be able to save his position in the team, then this might be the only chance for him to prove himself.
Samson’s performance in the 1st T20I match
In the first T20 match, Sanju was able to score only 12 runs off 12 balls. Unfortunately, he got run out, or else he might have scored well. However, run out is not going to be considered in the end. The only thing that will be considered, is the final score of a player.

In the 2nd T20I Sanju was able to score only 7 runs, on 7 balls. That was the time when the team needed him to perform well, but he was not able to make the contribution.
Overall T20 records
The overall record is not very impressive in the T20I. He has played 19 T20I matches, and till now he has scored only an average of 18.82. He certainly deserves a better average.
It’ll be interesting to see if Sanju gets a chance in playing 11 or not. If he does, then this could be the last chance for him, on this tour.
