Wesley Barresi, a first-class cricketer for the Netherlands and a South African native, was born on May 3, 1984. Barresi bats and bowls right-handed off break and is a wicket keeper. Barresi announced his retirement from all forms of cricket in the month of February of the year 2021, but Barresi joined the national team again in the month of August of the year 2022.

Playing Cricket Career

When Wesley was removed during the 2011 World Cup match against India, he became Yuvraj Singh’s 100th victim in the game of cricket.

Wesley Barresi was a member of the Netherlands’ One Day International (ODI) team for their series against Nepal in the month of July of the year 2018. The International Cricket Council (ICC) identified Wesley Barresi as the main player for the Netherlands going into the One Day International (ODI) matches.

Wesley Barresi was chosen to represent the Amsterdam Knights in the first-ever Euro T20 Slam cricket competition in the month of July of the year 2019. However, the cricket competition which was going to held was cancelled the following month.
